After the sales surge occurred in January (2.516 units), the Dutch market is back to more normal numbers, with 1.412 units, which is still 20% above the same month last year, placing the EV Share at 4,80%, a great result that might mean that the 2013 high mark (5,55%) could be beaten this year.

After leaving the competition miles away in January (905 units vs 579 of the runner-up), the Golf GTE secured another Monthly Best Seller title, beating the competition with more modest numbers (+/- 400 units, only 100 units ahead), the Outlander PHEV and Volvo V60 Plug-In came in #2 and #3, respectively, while in #4 this February we have the GTE's premium cousin, the A3 e-Tron, also impressing with a record 201 units, while ending a very VAG-friendly February Top 5 ranking, we have the Porsche Cayenne Plug-In, its second consecutive #5 here.
Looking at the models ranking, the Audi A3 e-Tron jumps three positions to #4, while Smart drops to #6 (It's still the Best Selling BEV), and the just arrived Ford C-Max Energi surges to #12.
Final mention for the Nissan e-NV200, although with small numbers, it confirms the trend seen in other markets, with the Barcelona-built van surpassing the Kangoo ZE as the best-selling LCV of the market.
